FULL AND PART REWIRES
Whether its power to your shed, garage or water feature, the latest LED lighting in your decking with wireless remote switching, or simply adding a single security light to your home, Southport Electrical Services can advise you of all the available options and provide a solution to meet your needs with full certification.
Do you need a rewire - here is an initial checklist: Does your fuse box have replaceable fuse wire? Do your plugs or sockets get hot or have scorch marks? Do fuses blow regularly? Do you have to use extension leads and adaptors? Do you have lights that use the old, twisted type flex? Do you have rubber covered flex? Do you have round pin plugs and sockets? Are your cables missing an earth cable? Do you use electrical equipment outdoors? Has your wiring been checked in the last 10 years?
COMMERCIAL
DOMESTIC
Our company have carried out installations in shopping centres, retail parks, car parks, hotels, public houses, dental surgeries, opticians, nursing homes, local and central government buildings and all types/sizes of industrial factory units.
Southport Electrical Services carry out a wide range of domestic electrical work throughout North West England. We will ensure all the electrical work required for home extensions and garages, are fully certified and guaranteed. We regularly carry out work for property owners requiring electrical alterations and rewires as well as inspection, testing and certification for landlords requiring Landlord Safety Certificates.
All commercial and some household premisses are now required to have all electrical portable electrical appliances periodically inspected and tested, generally referred to as PAT testing. Whilst some companies can carry out the test not all can rectify any problem found. Southport Electrical Services are approved to both carry out this work and more importantly as fully certified NICEIC Domestic Electrical Installers, carry out any required rectification work.
Did you know that the Electrical Safety Council recommends that the electrical installation in an owner-occupied home is surveyed at least every 10 years? And that the installation in a landlord’s tenanted property is surveyed at least every 5 years? If you’re concerned about the safety of your electrics you can help put your mind to rest with an Electrical Installation or Visual Condition report. Further PAT Testing also allows you to check the safety of your electrical appliances and equipment. Our qualified electricians will carry out a range of visual checks and more formal tests of your electrical appliances and equipment before reporting their findings and any identified safety issues and recommended remedial action.
